There are a lot of ways to celebrate the little lives we've lost. Not only that, but there are a lot of businesses that offer special items to help you commemorate your child.
Here are some of my favourites.
MOMORIAL EVENTS
A mother her lost her son, Christian, provides a memorial service where she writes your child's name in the sands of Australia and sends you a gorgeous photo of it during a sunset.
The Butterfly Run Ottawa aims to raise awareness and support around pregnancy loss, infant loss, pregnancy after loss, and infertility in Ottawa and surrounding areas. In addition, all proceeds from the run are donated to Roger Neilson House (RNH), a pediatric palliative care hospice.
Coming on June 6, 2021 at 3 pm, members of BFO Ottawa's community come together to remember their loved ones. They listen to a guest speaker, and watch the release of live butterflies in Beechwood's Botanical Gardens.
Held every year at the beginning of December before the holidays begin, BFO Ottawa's community comes together to listen to a guest speaker, hang ornaments on our tree of life, and light candles in memory of their loved ones.
Patricia will work tirelessly to create a ceremony that is exactly what you want; reflecting your language, spirituality, your culture, traditions and experience. The ceremony will not be complete until you have given your final approval. It is held in her stunning grounds which consist of beautiful forestry and a labyrinth.
SPECIAL PRODUCTS
Card company that also makes cards for families suffering miscarriage and infant loss.
Tiny Hearts Angel Gowns takes donated wedding gowns and turn them into Angel Gowns and Wraps specifically designed for tiny fragile babies who are gone too soon. These gowns are presented to grieving families as an act of kindness in a time of great tragedy.
